Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Why are we in Vegas ?

This is so bizarre, pretending we all did a great job, yet let 500 people go recently and just got acquired and will lose lots more.
I get it was booked, but can it and save the expense and pretence!

ML once remarked that SM reminded him of a cross between Steve Jobs & Ballmer. Visionary, marketing legend and high energy. I had a sudden urge to throw up at that time.

The bittersweet part of SKO was enjoying time with my colleagues knowing I would be leaving next week (telling my boss on Friday after he gives me my quota for the year). I know many of you are also looking to leave and while the culture at Juniper is toxic do not forget about the friendships that were made along the way. RR and the entire executive staff ran the company into the ground and their reward, $$$$$$$. I will take the reward of friendships over the money!

SM is embaraing. His antics breed sheeplike followers that try to mimic his insulting and demeaning style. I left in December and wow am I glad.

Most is a hallow horse believe me. Sold it while they were stand alone and it’s still not ready for prime time

Call them antics or showmanship, it has made the selling of an Agonizingly Irrelevant Dying Entity (AIDE) like Juniper, Almost Inevitable (AI). For that alone, SM & Mist deserve our gratitude.

I had respect for SM when Mist was a stand alone company. Lately his antics reminds me of the medieval times jester who warms up the audience before the main act. It's sad to see the transformation from a smart guy to a bumbling clown. Leadership thinks he's motivating, but don't realize that people laugh behind his back at his clownish antics.

Looks like SM's energy level has been brought down a few notches by the upcoming acquisition. The contentless Energizer bunny has finally been drained. Mist folks feel that RR & ML short changed them and are having a seller's remorse.

HPE paid $14B for SM's antics. At J, we do networking only on weekends. What an effing joke.

We just get lied to all the time,

Put SM on stage and let him shout with no content and made up numbers hoping people are stupid enough to listen. Also how did we end up with the CRO and CMO we have, absolutely clueless and can't even present.

Everyone I rate as an AE is just going to leave, lets do an internal survey on who wants to work for HPE?

What customer is going to buy MIST or Aruba now? The winner here is Cisco as always.

Juniper a division of HPE what a sh*t end
