Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

And they’re climbing the stairway

No, not to heaven
To there ivory towers!

Any one else noticing this shift??

People I kno for years are suddenly acting like they are part of the “them”.

If ur not a director or vp u an us.

Wake up a$$holes. U a people manager, u have a 1st line obligation to US.

Get off ur self important high horses and get in touch with reality.

It’s ignorant and disrespectful. Not to mention u stalling our careers but we literally depend on u and now ur selfishness for our life.

Thanks for failing us bcuz u wanna be a them.

Makes me miss the days mullet fired the people on the all hands for disrespect.

Thanks for listenin,

Gooble gobble,
One of us

Why did i not leave after give my first 3 reduction in force packages? Another team picked me up. But there more to it. Ive moved twice for them at their expense tho. Imagine living in the NE and moving South. Cost of living was alot cheaper. NCR does not adjust your pay for cost of living. I did look here in the south. I would have taken pay cut. Enough of a cut it wasn't worth changing. On my final riff while looking i would have taken 1/3rd cut. So i just left the industry. Granted i know their would be some reduced pay but the frustration of the job i just had enough. Even after some interviews with other companies it solidified it was the right thing to do. I worked as a field tec in the beginning and ended as a level 2 and 3 for the field and customers.
The only job i interviewed that sounded very exciting of was for Becton Di-kinson. With OT their techs can pull over 110k pre pandemic. so it was more than i making while at ncr. Training would be in calif for 2 months. If your teckie it is worth looking into.

NCR is not perfect, nor is is the worst. You're not forced to work at NCR, if it's so bad why not just leave and get paid what you are worth?

Nothing is over until we decide it is!
