I worked for macys for 8 years as a a-s-coitate and got my rear end handed to me on a daily basis with zero help. One thing i notice when macys does a restructuring of the biz is they promote useless people into position they know will be cut in 1 to 2 years.
My store had a dirty ops / AP manager who then got put into OOM position then that got eliminated . The dirty ap then got sent back to AP manager and then they offer him small store strategy b,s position . as soon as i heard of the " Promotion" i knew his days as numbered . They did this to my dept manager as well. was in corporate for 1 year and got cut. its a quite firing.
if you are getting up there in age Macys is not the place to retire from.. go look for something better which is anything
