If we survived today, does it mean that we're now safe? At least for the foreseeable future?

So how many Dual box locations are there ? Our main store location doesn't have space to put the home merchandise in the store.
In Dual box locations, they close the Home store and move it into the main store. They don’t announce these as ‘closures’
In our location there's two Macy's stores, a fashion store and a home store/ kids department. A reliable source at the mall told me that three big stores are closing at the mall this year. That person knows someone who works at the mall office. There's two big stores that are leasing the mall and the home store/ kids department is one of them. So I'm guessing the leasing is up and Macy's is not renewing the contract this year.
As leases are up, stores can be notified at any time that they’re closing. G O B would begin the following Sunday. Look what happened to Eagle Rock Plaza last year.
No. They said they would be evaluating all stores and staffing in the company months. They could close stores and reduce staffing at any time. I wouldn't be shocked if my store was one of them.
Maybe it depends but in corporate on the Customer+Digital side my department was thankfully relatively unimpacted though we did have cuts. On a department call that included Max someone effectively asked if we’re safe and Max basically said we are for now but that they’ll be evaluating things after Q1 results come out. So I’m hoping to get into gear and prep for the next possible round.
This is just the first round of cuts, the second round probably be this summer in June or July be ready because it's coming. ⏳
