Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

What we know about the ELT

HA is grossly incompetent, but SM has a school boy crush on her, which HA exploits. The second-hand embarrassment when those two are together is off the charts.

TC wonders why a guy who still uses a Rolodex can’t sell legacy technology, then blames his sales team for not selling what they can’t even give away for free.

KCC is always grinning, knowing she made a fortune pretending she did something noble.

JW could care less that she’s accomplished nothing and doesn’t even have a strategy. She’s making good money, gets her hair done for free, and has handpicked people on the payroll to brown nose her. But anyone who thinks CT is the answer has clearly never worked with him. Most people who work with CT for more than a couple years get let go—he has no loyalty to the people who were loyal to him.

The legal officer is asleep at the wheel.

The CFO is intelligent. She’s probably wondering where her life went wrong that she ended up here.

And they all blame each other for the fact there’s no new customers, revenue continues to decrease, and the products are duds.

SM + HA = OR + RP ?

We know how that turned out.

I never saw it from the perspective that SM has a crush on HA. But now I see it. That's very disturbing.

I always thought SB would have been angling to make something with her.

TC promised a lot but has severely under delivered. Much fanfare when he was brought on which amounted to nothing. Our previous CRO should have been CEO.

What we have now is a group of bumbling fools running a public company.

We are on track this year to have zero new customers. Our best hope is to retain the customers that are looking to migrate off with one last ditch attempt and plea. We'll migrate them to cloud for free, we'll give them a truckload of free vantage units once they are in the cloud, we'll say anything to just keep them.

Here in Australia, we lost one of our major banking customers. We are facing an uphill battle to keep other major customers from migrating off us. We're losing staff all around us on a daily basis. Our culture is bad, toxic workplaces and a general feeling that our future is bleak.

Next week at SKO, we'll hear positive pep talks from the ELT, but the reality on the front lines is very different. We feel we have been cast adrift by the ELT with zero support.
