Thread regarding VMware layoffs

I cannot believe they are keeping and pushing SSMs

Utterly knacked that Broadcom is trying to save every penny but keeps these do-nothings around.

I know they are a line item. Can Broadcom not see that not every line item is profitable?

SSMs add nothing of value and I've yet to see one do so.

As a CSM dedicated to a large client, you clearly have no ideas of how CRUCIAL support is for the big businesses.

You hence cannot comprehend how necessary the SSMs role is in when handling escalations and keeping general support in a healthy state for these top100 customers.

SSMS success is built on solid relationships and resoltions from Engineers.

Fear is when Engineers decide enough is is enough.....

You know, whatever is making you bitter is not going to disappear because a bunch of people whose job you don't like get laid off. Actively wishing that on a big group isn't a great look....
