Monsanto's culture is what made the company worth $65 billion, at least in Bayer's eyes. Monsanto had an offer on the table to buy the Crop Science division. Nevertheless, here we are. Eventually it will all end up as a stand-alone ag business.

The Monsanto culture also includes a majority of VPs, EVPs, Directors, "Global Heads"--whatever that title means that are all super in tune with gossip and rumors and often times are the ones starting false narratives in efforts to make themselves look better. If the Monsanto acquisition by Bayer is ever going to be successful, this behavior needs to be stamped out entirely.

"The Monsanto culture"------these people are a swarm of toxic locusts. They are experts in gaslighting and spending money. Bayer's acquisition of them was the worst decision the company has ever made.

Similar results at my location. Management roles are being eliminated but they are taking the place of individual contributors or lower level managers and then those in the previous IC roles are being laid off.

EVPs and SVPs are restructuring to release VPs and Directors that actually do the work in order to save themselves and kingdoms.

German voluntary retirement programs are 3x than any other country.

The Monsanto culture is alive and kicking and continues to destroy shareholder value while continuing to spend like a growth stock. There has been no major cuts, layoffs in the Ag vertical.

Yes, seems like it was announced as management-only cuts initially in an effort to benefit customers and reduce decision making time. However, now it is starting to look more like a traditional layoff that will impact everyone regardless of position or title. Typical of companies these days; business takes a hit, dump your employees!
