I am hearing about various meetings happening right now. Not sure if they’re still deciding on who will be chopped for this January round of layoffs or that’s already been decided?

The lists are likely to be finalized for January but I’d assume the decision makers are keeping a tight lid on it.

Dont be a fool. If announcements come Monday then the list was made back in the summer. The cheeses certainly know today who goes on the 22nd. SO maybe quiet quit today until you get the official notice? This way you got 2 free days of pay
So it is true that management decides who to keep and who to get rid of. I wonder what they factor into it?
Shouldn't they have this decided already since a bunch more layoffs begin on Jan 22nd?
