Please. We're hearing absolutely nothing and being kept in the dark is making this whole thing ten times worse.

Of course my store manager has the day off, how convenient. How do I find out any information?
If we were supposed to be told today at11am, why did the email say Friday 1.26
employees will be told?
Everyone was supposed to be spoken to today starting at 11am.
My store hasn't told anyone yet.
Is there a way of seeing if your being let go on insite?
If you are a Visual Captain in a G50 door and are laying you off, it's not because they are getting rid of visual. It's because they are replacing you with a Visual Manager.
I'm a VC in a F50 door and was told my last day will be the 26th unless I want to apply for any openings (all sales positions) . Keeping visual based on volumn doesn't make sense because we are a growth door. I think some stores just haven't spoken to there people yet. It may be a good time for a new start.

in case there is something better in that thread
Can someone share communication that comes out this afternoon. I am on PTO and have no way of hearing information. Thank you.
It sounds like they’re going back to what they were trying to do just before the pandemic. Remember when very briefly small doors had a Visual Specialist instead of a Visual Manager?
Our store still has a Visual Captain stop saying they are all gone. We are a smaller door.
Severance is one weeks pay every year worked.
What’s the severance package?
So who is going to do visual? Is it true they are bringing back Visual Managers? Are the some of the SMMs going to go back to pure visual now?
Current role visual captain , all visual captain roles are being cut. Does not matter the volume of the store.
As someone who lost their job the last round of layoffs, I will tell you, there is life after Macys. Good luck to everyone today.
Some EDPS and assistants apparently in corporate .. and heard pricing moving to buying
What was the volume of a store with an SMM cut?
Not all visual captains are being cut it depends on the store volume ..
Given a severance package. Currently in a SMM role. All visual captains will be cut. Best luck to everyone! They are creating Manager, Visual Merchandising roles.
I got cut as CXM here . Our store director is having meetings with us individually.
Given a severance package . Current role OOM
Visual got cuts during Covid…so it cant be visual again
Is it true all visual captains cut?!? What are we trashing all these mannequins?
Your department leader has between 11-4pm to discuss with the impacted colleagues and discuss with your team. I hope they do it sooner rather than later.
What Corporate Dept. Are you in?
I’m in corporate, people on my team had 15 min meetings pop up on calendars this morning. I had mine already and was not impacted but others on my team were.
ALL VISUAL CAPTAINS CUT
someone on the other thread said "All announcements to impacted colleges will be made at 11am." so I'd also like to hear if any individual has gotten some kind of notification, so far my coworkers and I have not, other than a teamwide meeting scheduled for 2pm ET.
