Lots of telecommuters due to site closures. Citi has made it abundantly clear that despite closing sites and leaving people with no site to report to, there is a zero-exception process to move within the company. Meaning, they do not want remote workers and there has been an appearance for a year they have been trying to rid themselves of remote employees. Does anyone know if that's a consideration with the layoff pool? And if you are laid off and remote, there seems to be a zero percent chance you can be accepted into any other role because they are all hybrid.

I was told by my manager months ago that it was bad to be a telecommuter, but since more and more people are not coming back to my site, who knows.
It seems the entire layoff criteria is a chaotic, unorganized mess, as is "We are better together so return to the office."
My whole team is remote, regardless of whether they are close or far from an office. No impacts related to telecommuter status.
We are better together. If you can't come in, you will be out
I wonder the same thing.
