I thought I’d be safe as part of QNX but we presold too many licenses so now we aren’t profitable enough for our org size. That’s what my manager says, could that be true? I don’t understand.

Got laid off today. Personally I feel gutted but the company needed it. JC and co. made a mess and the current leadership is trying to do whatever possible to cut their losses without assessing who and what is necessary. The company I feel is a sinking ship
