Education Benefit in Question

For those that have taken advantage of the education benefit, has anyone left before finishing their commitment? And if so, has 2U required reimbursement back from you?

I received tuition forgiveness when I was laid off in October 2023. I've heard stories of folks who left on their own (not a layoff)
during the chaos and uncertainty of 2021 accepting the risk of leaving before they completely finished their tuition payback. they were not asked to pay whatever they had left, but I personally would not assume that risk, especially now that their attention is so hyper focused on money

Thanks for asking this question - I've been wondering the same thing. To add on, I'm also curious if anyone knows if 2U allows for a repayment plan or if they require us to take an external loan to make a lump payment?

Not me but a colleague: yes, they require it unless you're laid off.
