Hock needs the money for his gourmet fish heads
Broadcom will be the same company in 2024, with the same PE business model. That won't change. They have merely added a few more VMW-related items to their balance sheet. In the near term, they need to reduce debt ASAP. Cash flow matters.
More layoffs and asset sales will fill their agenda in 2024 as Hock and his leadership team learn what they truly acquired, compared with what they initially thought during due diligence on the deal. Many more changes in the next six months are certain.
