The writing has been on the wall for a couple of years, the business is changing and many jobs have become obsolete. I believe that what is painful to many of the employees impacted is that the years of dedication to the business is an afterthought when reducing headcount. The people who remain also have to deal with leaders who are aware of the next group to leave and are treating these employees as second class citizens. Assigning them tasks, demanding perfection, not supporting their work; yes we know, your are busy mapping out the future.

Rumor is that Scarborough will begin 2024 layoffs on the 24th of January. Telephone is going away in the states and any remaining telephone work will be done from Mexico.

I’m with commercial side. What I heard is this incoming reorganization will team people by projects, not sure what that exactly means though. I did notice our titles changed to general types, like adm, account mgr, BI, etc. early Jan, but have changed back later. Not sure if that’s some testing internally.
