How is that even possible? How can the ELT sleep at night knowing they plan to ruin 20K lives - plus their families' lives? This is so excessive that I have no words for it. Everybody who was involved in this decision should feel ashamed of themselves - even though I know they won't since they don't give a damn about any of us.

IF you actually read the article, some were already trimmed too. Need to trim 3.8k mgrs, then the whopper another 15k
20k over 2 years. That’s not really that much, many large companies cull the bottom 10% each year. This quarter will be less than 5 k. Globally.

It is not unnecessary. Citi over-hired in certain areas and many of the people on-boarded are of lower quality - so they need to go.
So sad and so unnecessary. The bottom line, we just don’t have the right leadership.
There’s one captain and the rest of us are the crew. If the ship is way off course, who’s fault is it? So now the captain wants to throw people overboard to make sure we have enough food. Should the captain be rewarded?
how else would you make up 2B loss profit? come to BNY we pay top dollar for citi folks and were still on hybrid model.
