Basically these geniuses what the back office employees to account for every minute of their day now. To document every single action taken much like a lawyer would do. So now every time I take a call it is to be documented in TT. If someone stops by my office to ask a question or discuss a project I will now have to document the time spent in that conversation. I understand the “leadership” at this company isn’t made up of the sharpest people on earth but stupid doesn’t even begin to cover this.

@1bhp+1qCPWfgh too late if you got the safe and effective fix
How about tec trac for management. I just saw my supervisor for the 1st time in 3 1/2 weeks. Would love to what kind of days he has.
They showed up 8 years ago without a clue how to run this business and after 8 years they still haven’t learned how. But they want you to believe they are the smartest kids in the room. It is truly laughable.
Next for office workers phone monitoring and body gps
Wait until they GPS you.
The micromanaging as we all know comes as a result of the Sr leadership not knowing how to run the company. They are all from the world of finance or engineering with no operational knowledge of the CATV/broadband industry regardless of the positions they may have held prior to arriving here. Any leader who is a micromanager is a leader who does not know what their job is or how to do it so they are compelled with the need to know every minute detail of everything happening within their circle, and this company is filled with that type of leader at the highest levels. 2024 is already shaping up to be another disastrous year and possibly the worst one to date since the acquisition.
I knew it was quiet for too long
Sr Leadership is in a panic and holding on to their jobs is priority one so whatever they can come up with to fade the heat they are going to do. As everyone knows the last few months individuals in Sr leadership positions have been shown the door with little to no warning and I would anticipate that will continue, along with the everyday employee base until this company can find its footing. Which we also know is never going to happen.
It makes perfect sense because the senior level managers here are not seasoned business operations people, they're all from financial and engineering backgrounds. There’s a ton of stuff that makes sense on paper but without the hard won experience of actually running a successful business it’s useless. These guys have got a calculator in one hand and are st-----g their pipe dreams in the other.
It’s been the same issue with these people ever since they showed up at our door. They honestly believe they are the smartest kids in the room and we should welcome them coming to our rescue even though the company was very profitable and was running smoothly before they graced us with their presence. And these clowns have yet to do one successful thing in the 7 or 8 years they have been here. It’s one disaster after another. But they want to micromanage and tell you how to do a job you have been doing successfully for decades.
Treat your internal and external customers right. The company would reap the rewards. Instead they get employees disinterested in promoting the company and no loyalty from our customers. Nice business model
These past few months have been nothing but disastrous. Institute new policies and procedures with no plan.
Tec Trac like OSP used????
