A number of social impact folks still in slack. Will this impact the team focused on the partnerships here we are already committed to? (Vs gaining new partnerships)
Social Impact is the dept I think about when I need to feel good about things. I can't believe they'd cut them.
Work with EDX in the Central Grading team. Just got laid off
Confirmed cuts to the Social Impact Team. The entire team has been let go. Enterprise has also been affected. For those who are still employees at 2U, start looking asap, it’s only a matter of time.
Former edX SRE has been gutted. No one remaining that used to be part of the company prior to 2U Acquisition.
At least one Director of Engineering on the LMS team has been let go.

Can't help but feel it is only a matter of time.
Confirmed by Dobbs, there are no Student Engagement roles that are being eliminated today.
This may be an aggressive opinion but I think more cuts in SE need to happen, specifically leadership and program representation. This department is bloated with overpaid portfolio directors as well as program directors.
