Am I the only person that finds Scott to be more than little shifty? He’s all faux enthusiasm and jargonese.

To the comment on 2021 Bloomberg articles on SAP’s horrible response to workplace s-xual as--ult:
What Bloomberg reported was 100% true. Following the second article, I contacted one of the authors to share my story. Conveniently, my position had just been “eliminated” (with severance), so I was no longer concerned about losing my job by continuing to escalate concern about how my leadership handled what happened to me.
I was number twenty-something to contact the authors after the second article was published. That means there were more than 20 people before me who read the two articles and decided to speak up. I do not know how many after me did the same.
When I spoke with Bloomberg in 2021, more reporting, including an affair between CK and an individual from an event planning contractor, and how SAP handled employee reports of s-xual abuse/misconduct, was in process. Yet, nothing more was ever published. I suspect it was a payment-based, “catch and ki-l” and/or legal threat scenario that prevented Bloomberg from printing anything else.
So, if you thought it was bad, you now know it’s even worse than you thought …
When he replaced Adaire, many people expressed concern about what, at that time, resulted in an all male board. Quick shifts were made to appoint Julia White as a new board role to ensure DE requirements for female board members were met. When I specifically asked about board diversity, Sabine, on a 1:1 call, told me Scott was a diversity appointment because he’s Australian. No joking.
we know the real reason the crazy awkward lady is here.....
here's a clue: it's not her in-depth knowledge of our solution architecture
Don't forget the awkwardness and crazy
talk from the "People and Culture" lady.
Complete rubbish from that silly bird
The concerning part is that this type of conduct is being mirrored by individuals of lesser rank within the organization, which then impacts larger group discussions that we are all a part of and have to endure it.
White, Russel, Bendiek - they're merely clowns putting on a show and lacking authenticity - which is why it comes across as unsettling and awkward to the rest of us.
There has been a significant drop off in our Global Marketing program which is tied into when Julia White started at SAP 3 years ago.
For example SAP had a much more robust ad campaign prior to her arrival at SAP. We had spots on most of the largest sporting events and venues. And of course there were the very creative advertisements done by Clive Owen, which tremendously advanced SAP awareness and image.
Maybe there were some other reasons why all of these Marketing campaigns came to a dead end other than Julia White's arrival, or maybe this is not her expertise and she does not know how to present a business case as to why they need to be continued. I don't know if she's responsible or not but there has been a marked difference upon her arrival
It is just me or does Julia's over-the-top enthusiasm make her seem less credible? I can't watch her speak because for some reason I keep thinking to myself "she should tone it down a little bit"
fully agree about the awkwardness of that HR lady -
terrible presentation and communication skills
Julia White is another example of someone in a position they have no serious credentials for. At Microsoft she had only Product Marketing responsibilities specifically for Azure and only for the last 6 years before coming to SAP.
There is a big difference in that Product Marketing focuses on introducing and promoting specific products to the market, while Corporate Marketing encompasses the overall image and reputation of the company. She has zero experience in the latter.
I don't know her personally and she might be a very nice person but I am just astonished that our decision makers so totally undervalued this position by getting someone to handle Global Marketing for a Fortune 100 company with no prior experience and second, that there was nobody already in SAP that could do this job?
I thought it was awful how in 2022 Julia and Scott addressed / not addressed the Bloomberg reported allegations. Sabine not being present was telling.
Zero respect for these board members after their performance on the issue and the call.
why do we have some internal pet project sounding like the Ta----n?
who is the genius who signed off on this stupid time wasting rubbish?
Big head + little body. If green = great gazoo.
The "Office of People and Culture"" sounds forced, borderline creepy, unnecessary and so silly. Has a "Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice" vibe.
More internal rubbish !
I received an email today from “ the awkward woman Traci from "People and Culture" ” about our return to SMART objectives in 2024 Performance Management upheaval. According to that email she reports directly to CK…
Julia is a total fraud. The rot started with Julia.
Julia White's effervescence comes off leaving you wondering is she pretending to be enthusiastic?
You just don't know if her pitch is authentic or is it a case of fake it till you make it? I don't know how she behaves in her private life to make a judgement.
Julia White has so much enthusiasm with every word she speaks it makes it hard to take it seriously. Not everything is massively amazing. She might want to tone it down a little bit so the really great things can stand out.
actually, he fits in perfectly with CK and Julia White to be fair. they are the buzzword prince and princess. same goes for the others in their little fiefdom like the awkward woman from "People and Culture" (a terrible name by the way)
