Something isn’t adding up with all of this after all the chatter about student engagement getting massive cuts. I have a sneaking suspicion this is just the first phase of many layoffs… does anyone else have that feeling?

Definitely another round coming.
The company could survive, but the company will absolutely go bankrupt by March 2025. There is really no way around that inevitability. In the meantime, they will do what they can to keep the company from being delisted and trim any fat they deem necessary. As long as they can keep the day to day going in the meantime while maximizing any short term revenue, they will do it. More will come I am sure, I have my resume waiting and always open to looking at job openings. Don’t be naive to the situation and be prepared.
Absolutely. Especially in student engagement. Dobb’s email was suspiciously worded. Keyword TODAY
“I wanted to let our team know directly that there are no Student Engagement roles that are being eliminated today. Please be respectful of our colleagues that are being directly impacted and keep them in your thoughts”
I meant phase one under new leadership and for 2024, you are correct this is the 4th mass layoff since Summer of 2022.
I’m pretty sure this is like the fourth phase of layoffs right?
Once again 2u shows they don’t understand that layoffs don’t lead to long term financial improvements. You can’t buy a pack of bubblegum for the cost of a twou share. And things aren’t going to improve.
