Think long and hard about your careers. Especially anyone in a BAU function (non revenue-generators). AI is going to put most of us out of a job, in the not too distant future. Investors, companies, business owners......they all want the next best thing ASAP, and the next best thing is AI and not you. Gonna be real hard to make a living for alot of people. Everybody cant be in sales. Feel sorry for the younger generations. They are Fd!

Its not a contract, it is called at will employment. Either party can terminate the agreement at any time for almost any reason. So like you can leave Citi whenever you want, just be professional and provide 2 week notice
A job is a contract between 2 parties. Each side needs guarantees like how long will the contract be for and that the work will be completed. By keeping all employees in the dark for months/years, Citi is failing to do their part of the contract. They should tell employees if they have a job or not instead of playing the guessing game.
WIll the AI also determine raise and bonus, and who to boote in times like these?
AI will affect HR first. The reason I say that as they already function off of a chatbot. They already usually only provide canned email responses. They usually only provide FAQ links and\or mostly links that are broken.
All of this, as lame as it can be, can be done by AI. Why pay for an HR staff when this can all be done via AI.
Lol Ops is diverse and can do many functions. It is very to easy to AI tech LOL automate reports and such, maybe teach yourself tableu?
AI won't just take over for tech. It will impact Ops as well. Lol
