I am hearing about pockets of layoffs all over the company. People say hundreds in Strategy and Business Development. Some claim high numbers across engineering. There are rumors that major job cuts are coming. How the heck are we going to do things properly with less engineers? Who’s gonna do the actual work?
Does anyone have any information or can confirm any of the above?
The need for diversity trumps everything so expect more old white men to be laid off.
There are no layoffs coming. Only hiring and expanding. Get your facts straight.
We have plenty of work when you are scheduled and stock driven !! Boeing is about numbers Boys !!! Not quality!!
Many of these layoffs were people that were to be previously terminated but had their end date moved out to help outsource their job. Still a fair amount of new layoffs, just not all.
That's to be expected of a dieing company. More to come I'm sure.
You guys can't have that much work considering how bad your planes have become.
