Is it all layoffs or will the USA folks also be offered early retirement???

The offensive comments from the children on this thread just make me that much more amenable to accepting a VERP (voluntary Early Retirement Package/Program, for those who are acronym challenged).
I won't have to spend half my day showing the younger teammates how to do their job.
voluntary = VERP.
Terms: Am I eligible to participate in Voluntary Early Retirement Program (VERP)
You are eligible to participate in the Voluntary Early Retirement Program (VERP)if you meet all of the following criteria:
You are SAP employee in the U.S. who is regularly scheduled to work at least 24 hours per week,
You have, or will have, three years of service with SAP or an affiliated or acquired company by March 18, 2019,
You will be age 59 or older by December 31, 2019, and
You are not in an Excluded Group.
Prayer and fingers crossed for the VERP. Prayer against all deals with the devil.
@1ycg+1qAtpKCb Speaking for all of the children posting here, I can say unequivocally that I take umbrage with your statement. I will also I find your attempt to invoke some sort of voo-doo with your crossing of fingers (whats next... prayer???) to be highly offensive. But I still gave you a thumbs up on the comments. Well played.
What is VERP? Not good with acronyms, especially SAP related :D
Children on this thread please stop your childish arguing. Let's all have our fingers crossed for the VERP.
@ppt+1qAtpKCb cope
@lkt+1qAtpKCb the truest of cowards post something like that behind a wall of anonymity. You'd be hard-pressed to behave that way sitting next to someone at the bar, my friend...
@ppt+1qAtpKCb - true cowards and clowns call names behind anonymous posts 🖕
@xba+1qAtpKCb You’re a fear-monger and a clown. Go peddle your nonsense somewhere else… coward.
VERPs are extinct. If you are in a protected age class, have legal counsel ready if not on speed dial.
That would be amazing. I hope they offer it!!! There are too many old people at SAP anyways.
The last one of these was back in 2019 and it was a pretty generous package.
Too expensive, doubt they would do this again, but rather just go for layoffs if and when they happen.
