Please tell me the upper management will be as affected as the rest of us in this deal. That would certainly make me feel better.

Hopefully the incompetent fools are first to go
You must be new here. They will all walk away with fat checks. Even if their positions are eliminated, they would earn enough money to last 3-4 generations
I can't think of any positions that are more redundant, so fingers crossed.
