Glassdoor reviews

I hope everyone who is on here is also going and posting (honest) reviews on glassdoor. My team has been asking me to recommend someone for a position and I just don't feel comfortable considering the current state of things. Glassdoor does not seem to be reflective of the current state of things and I hope people share their experiences where potential employees can make informed decisions.

I recently interviewed for a position here and several alarm bells went off in my head during the process. Not only was I told that my predecessor couldn't get things over the finish line, but I also was asked during one of the interviews: "are you sure you you're still interested in this role?" And if I took a shot for each time someone told me how matrixed the company is, I would have been fitshaced.

I think dodged a bullet by not getting an offer from TU.

You mean critical roles until they've trained up their replacements that are off-shore, right?

By year end of 2024, I expect the majority of IT professionals who are not off-shore and/or consultants to be laid off.

Glassdoor is a sham. Wasn’t it discovered that companies could pay to have bad reviews deleted?

This site is much better and getting the true pulse of how things are at a company.

Are you able to even hire in the US? My understanding is that only critical roles could be US and everything else would be off-shored.
