As bonus is paid end of Jan but layoff continue till end of Q1'24, will we get bonus if we are in the layoff list?

Again - high reward high risk. No guarantees, that is why you are being paid at least 2-3x the median pay per year.
even if you dont get laid off, since when are you guaranteed a bonus? There have been years where I had to give out multiple donuts
Semantics. Many people use fired for any scenario where it was the employer's idea and not the employee.
Traditionally, fired meant getting terminated for cause.
People are lazy nowdays and just say whatever they want, or mis-spell and no one corrects them or they get butthurt and say it was auto-correct. Kinda like people who write about "loosing" a game, or "loosing" money. LOL
Can we get straight that fired and laid off are two different things!
I would expect that people below D level in middle/back office will get their full bonus even if they are fired before 31st of Jan. But for D and above in front office that might not be guaranteed, hence why there was news that Citi is offering people to take the partial bonus now and run before Jan 24. Middle/back office are cheap...
