Just heard a rumor that a good part, if not all Boeing IT is moving to India.... There is a new Boeing IT campus there built just for that... Just curious if anybody can confirm.

I am staying with Boeing for now. Will get several IT certs, like AWS architect, paid for by Boeing and see how long I can stay. The lay is good, the job is easy. I would prefer to stay with the company for a while.
Can confirm. IT no longer exists. I do inside construction, yet was tasked (via hot potato email) to refresh a shared work computer. In the wrong location, for the wrong org. Spoiler: nobody cares ar cared. 2 months of BS, and I left the post. IT dudes on Xmas break looking like homeless teens, complaining loudly about lack of holiday pay and support. If it doesn't touch an airplane- its days are numbered. Have you not experienced the "joy" (horrors) of trying to suss out delicate HR or health issues with Indian "Boeing" helpers? Holy cow, man... it would be funny ,if it wasn't so sad.
Everything from Boeing is going...going...gone...
I expect engineering will be too. Having to close down the Boeing Moscow design center they’ll be looking to open another one in another country like India..
The last 8 years or so there has been an effort to transition as much IT and admin work as possible to India. It often will be coined with a slick term like Global Transformation. Multiple hiccups have resulted in delaying this goal or having some work returned only to find out the people within Boeing having system and tribal knowledge have been let go. Not a bad option to ride it to the end out but understand there is no future for you.
Simple solution...don't work for Boeing...
People are getting laid off everywhere and jobs are getting outsourced to India. The competition only increases to find a basic job.
