I think it’s a foregone conclusion that cuts are coming in January-February. But what I’m having a hard time getting an answer on is how they are going about it? Will they be offering packages? Including the union employees in the packages (if any?). Or are they just going to cut positions regardless of tenure etc…Getting increasingly nervous about what could be coming. Being in operations has historically been safe when cuts are mentioned. But this time feels different.

Well, January is here and we’ll find out soon enough. As a 50 year old employee who has only been with the company 12 years I am hoping the cuts are voluntary and those who want to stay can do so. Time will tell I suppose.
Just another example of this company caring of profit over people.
They have shown it well to LUG employees and that is why nobody cares anymore.
Yeah I don’t want to go either. I do think they are doing it differently than BOEF back in 2016 and actually asking people leaders how valuable their employees are. Here is hoping the people who need or want to go leave and the rest of us get to stay.
Fingers crossed there's enough vacancies, people overdue for retirement and poor performers who should go anyway to make their numbers.
I dont want to go. Ok the contrary. I’m hoping to be around for another 10-15 years.
This won’t be like VWO that happened during COVID. You aren’t going to get to raise your hand to go.
