Macys did this to themselves by laying off tenured employees who brought wealth to the table. they kept the low cost loswers to finish the job of running the place into the ground. R.H Macys is rolling in his grave..

simple... having been laid off and then finding out they only kept the "best of the best" which made me laugh so hard ! they kept all the low cost , do -nothing b-ms !! and here is the end result ! The ship is sinking ... Enjoy your stay !

They had to get rid of seasoned employees. We were seasoned cause they weren’t. We cared about the work. New people just wanted needed a job. I’m gone over a year because I worked.
Happier now , yes. But I miss working for Macys. The company was good to me, some of the people, not so much.
