Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Future of S***ing

A total disaster called *BE wrapped in to a new package and run by majority of the same clowns who caused the issue in the first place. Another potential disaster which will lead to mass layoffs later next year. Surprised that the program leadership was not fired after the first outing. Juniper never seems to learn from its mistakes and shifts the blame onto the SI.

FOS is currently proceeding full steam ahead. The CIO & her leadership team are hiring their minions from Tibco & Good Harbor Group. GP also needs to get promoted. Making merry, cashing out before the company is sold off.

I heard today morning from our VP that FOS will be stopped since after the acquisition news it does not make sense to proceed ahead with this.

what is "FoS VPs"?

The FoS VPs might be inept at delivering, but they are quite adept at identifying scapegoats who to pin this on, once it fails. If you are one of the Business or IT leads, suggest you start looking for your new gig. Recommend reading the below post to see what kind of leaders you are dealing with.

I did see a hire with respect to gender as an initiative to DEI; I heard this from my boss. If they met the hiring bar, gender would be irrelevant in this case. Just a sample point N=1.

Juniper has struggled to attract and retain good talent. Add to that no vision or potential growth, a stagnant stock price and woke policies like DEI have resulted in the hiring of a weak clueless leadership who are absolutely not the right fit. DEI works well when it's applied as diversity of thought, but here it's largely gender based.

Why did Juniper hire such incompetent leaders in the first place?

It is one of the large corporate initiatives led currently by an incompetent leadership who has no prior experience running complex programs of this magnitude. A text book case of how to wear out good folks, force them to look out and run a company into the ground.

Not surprising at all. The CIO and her inept cronies will no doubt mess this up again. However they are adept at finding scapegoats and the IT leads better watch their backs as they will be made the sacrificial lambs. Unnecessary huge stress, not at all worth it. Talking from a painful first hand experience. Find something better outside.
