Looks like there is a nailhead sizes light at the end of the tunnel
This doesn't mean anything, insiders at 2u bought the stock the whole way down to $1
Btw anyone else think Chip was looking for exit liquidy from his employees bringing in his "analyst" to tell us the stock should be $10-15 ? I bet he didn't go to his big bag stock holders with that jabtoni. Someone should call the SEC on him
What would the lenders require to refinance the debt? What market value or leverage does 2U have other than to embarrass several elite universities?
AM is incredibly bullish about 2U's future while being a realist about the present. IMO hes the most effective senior leader 2U has and has a good shot at being the next CEO after they get out of the current financial crunch.
I can guarantee you that AM knows quite a bit about the current debt and financial situation, as part of the Exec Team (including ongoing efforts to refinance the debt, and push it out)...
He is likely feeling confident in the strategic changes underway, and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel... which is a good sign for the future of the business overall. (Though not necessarily comforting re: potential layoffs in Q1...)
Not sure how much he knows about their debt situation/finances. He bought a big block at $3 a few months ago so may be doubling down, but its still a good sign when insiders buy.
