I am laid off in US, and my last date is in Jan. I have some vmware stock vesting on Feb 1st.
Do i lose those stocks since my last day is earlier than stock vesting date??
Also can i know when do i get the 2 months of severance?

After your completion date you will get the severance package. Infact on the last day.
Even they moved forward our Feb vesting to Dec.
In general once you’re out of company, no more vesting. It’s all done. Request your manager to move your end date (unlikely to happen), if not early vest.
UNLESS you have a stipulation on your RSUs, everything should vest and be yours.
I say stipulation because I got one with my last summer when I got some new RSUs. That stipulation said I would lose half my RSUs if I get laid off before a certain date. The rest of my RSU would vest immediately.
Check Fidelity but at least my Feb 1 2024 vests have been moved forward to Dec 15 202 (ie today). If they haven’t then you are out of luck.
