Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

jnpr vs ntnx

Nutanix also had a downtime, but they turned around the situation. The CEO and other leaders paved the way for better leadership and sacrificed themselves. At JNPR, the leadership is only concerned about their career and not the company at all. The share price growth reflects this difference.

What I didn't understand is what Juniper Board is doing. What the major shareholders are doing to turn around this company or relying on the mediocre leadership till the cow gives milk in the form of dividends?

Flat dividend , flat bonuses , flat stock price and flat life for many employees and share holders.
LaYoff people when required to keep others.
This is what happening. No real turn around or strategy to monetize the technology. So Jnpr board is flat.

The company is run by finance not Sales, and the strategy (or lack of) reflects this massively. Sales have no influence, and is run by weak and mediocre managers, who can add zero value. Just look at Arista for what a sales led company looks like, huge growth, more revenue than Juniper and with a third of the number of employees. Juniper is an embarrassment

Seriously wonder about the board. What value have they provided? Most have been on for years.
