It's amazing how she answered the questions without providing an actual answer to what was asked. She essentially dodged all questions. Would have been better to not do it. Anyone else more confused after the AMA?

The only thing somewhat noteworthy is that she seemed to suggest people might get laid off through March 31. In other words, most will find out in mid-Jan, but I guess some will find out a bit later? Not sure.
Two words, bora bora.
"Not one MD that I know got hit thus far."
Yet :).
There will be MDs leaving in 1Q. Not enough, but some.
Joke is on us. In today’s townhall Whitaker said reorg will be over soon. January is sooner than March. Expect the bulk of cuts in Jan after Q4 earnings call. So far about 300 managers have been fired out of 24,000 expected. Probably most will be SVP, VP, and AVP level.
Reminiscent of her public interviews. When asked a question about where the company is going and challenges therein you get a bunch of “we are so proud of our diversity hiring” yada…. no true roadmap on how to make the balance sheet attractive or how to attract more market share.
Why do we even watch? It means nothing, just a show. They need audiences that they don't deserve. Imagine a townhall that no one attends. That will send a message.
Yep, still too many MDs and Directors and they have no team to manage. This is the only organization I have seen Directors with no team.
My takeaway this reconstruction is specifically aimed at chopping lower levels SVPs and below and all the management will remain intact. Not one MD that I know got hit thus far.
What did you expect?
