Yes, they need to sweeten the deal for me to volunteer. But it would not be in the company's best interest to do so. Been through this other places. Usually, it's the people you can't afford to lose that would volunteer. If it was the standard layoff package, I'd volunteer in a heartbeat.

Y’all are delusional. You can’t demand x amount of severence or bonus. You’ll get the severence amount as outlined in the employee handbook. You’ll get WARN pay if /as required by your state, if you’re still here when bonuses are handed out, you might get one.

This may be a stupid question but if you wait it out and get laid off, would you be in a better situation? at that point you’d be due your bonus and then you can also get severance I’m not sure what the benefits of the deal is

maybe somebody could enlighten me

Haha, funny comments. Citi will cut people with between 3 and 12 months severance pay/insurance. That is it - anything else is just dreams.

@zyi+1q3lM3b8 lol. The don't "need" to do anything. You need to get in touch with reality.

I would Not accept anything less than one year's Salary, plus one year's health insurance including dental, plus one year's continuing pension/401K contributions and company matches, plus 15% of my base Salary bonus. Anything less than this is an insult, slap and punch in my face! After what Citi has done and how Citi F-cked Me Over, I really want to stick it to Citi. D3ath By A Thousand Cuts.

Citi needs to offer good pay incentives for workers to leave like 6 months pay plus 1 year health benefits. Offering partial bonus is an insult to workers. Bonuses have not been great so doubt anyone would take it.
