Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Macy's buyout: Isn't this what you want?

To everyone complaining for years about incompetent upper management with an outdated philosophy, you're wish might be finally coming true. A fresh vision, a clean slate, and a flat out demolition of what you've known your whole career. Neighbood stores wiped away and turned into warehouses, the Macy's store fleet only remaining in upper level malls. Stores being run by College grads who have never worked in retail a day in their life. But hey, you're 401K might be work a few more dollars

This sight isn't exactly full of realistic solutions for issues. Survey the sight yourself. You will see exactly what the OP is referencing.

Strongly disagree. What OP sees as a complaining, should be seen as negative feedback (that's one of two forms of constructive feedback). Constructive feedback is all about providing someone with comments or actionable recommendations for change and improvements in order to support those changes, not in order to dismantle the entire system.

This is the irony of this entire site.

Associates post on here (in particular retailers) and complain about every bit of minutia they can. Advising everyone to run or 'don't work here' and so forth. Then when a rumor starts (buy out, closing) it hit home and they may need to find a position elsewhere.

The OP is just point out that this is exactly (if it happened) what you have asked for all along. You are finally out of your misery and can move on.

Then of course you can start all over with posting on the new 'owners' or company you moved to.
