Some work from home Gurus were let go and a TM I’m familiar with on Voyix side. Not sure about Atleos but I’m sure some remote people let go also
Got the axe this morning. Atleos.
Its better to look for another job opportunity before you’re laid off. You'll have better chances than looking once your gone as future employers will kinda lowball pay offer since they know your presently unemployed. Thats what i personally witness. For some a small rif package tho nice to get isnt worth the lower pay. The few stories you read here how much more or better is on the rare side
If you look at new hires in many areas they are located in either India or Serbia. If you look at workday the postings for US positions are overwhelmingly feild related hands on workers. My prediction, based in sound evidence and common sense, is that any project manager or task related role will be overseas fully by end of 2025 at the latest same goes for any technical support role that does not require you to touch things. Sad to see this as I once highly admired NCR but the one I joined is not the one that once was a market leading organization.
They've effectively put an expiration date on all U.S. employees still at NCR. Anyone still there should seriously start looking elsewhere. Feels like it's only a matter of time before GHQ gets hollowed out, and only a skeleton crew remains. And at that point, I doubt they're going to continue paying for the rent and will likely move the base of operations to somewhere cheaper in Eastern Europe, as previously mentioned.
It was across all business units at Voyix. I heard anywhere from 10-20% US workers but not sure off accuracy of those numbers. Such a shame that NCR is selling itself out for cheap labor. I would imagine that all USA based workers that are not feet on the ground will be gone within the next few years and NCR global HQ will be in Serbia.
Help desk was hit
Tech jobs are safe because nobody wants the job, bad hours, working weekends and nights, low pay/bad benefits coupled with bad management.
Nobody newly hired stay for any significant amount of time, they usually just waste everyone’s time training then leave.
Anyone know if Techs are being RIF as well or if it's just upper people
Voyix was last Thursday. Atleos coming this Thursday. US focused cuts
