What happens if they close stores where they don't own the building but just have a lease? Our lease from the mall owner isn't up for about 14 more years.

The real estate in some malls, dead or otherwise, is valuable because the big box will be torn down and the space utilized for other things, liked mixed use retail and apartments/condos.
