Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Anyone fired for not returning to office

How can I complaint to Broadcom HR about my colleagues not returning to VMware office ?
Its unfair if I come, but some others don't.

Bet you were one of the curtain twitchers who would report their neighbours for going out and taking a walk during COVID.

I agree bro, that’s BS. VMW had an ethics line u could make anonymous ethics reports to u should see if Broadcom has that too. These whiners were offered severance if they didn’t want to work and should taken it.

We gotta get rid of all these b-ms!

Look at the bright side, less people lining up for the bathroom, restaurants can get you seated right away, less annoying people coming by your cubicle to chat, relaxed atmosphere and less time to work due to unambiguous logging off time. They're the ones missing out!

Here is how to do it:
Step 1: Get a pencil and some paper
Step 2: Write out some detailed complaints about your colleagues
Step 3: Go to the bathroom and shove the papers up your a-s
Step 4: Fu-k off

Wow. What a terrible attitude. My life su-ks and I am too weak to change my situations so everyone else must suffer like me. Stand up for yourself my dude. If you don't want to go to office either negotiate that stuff or look for another job.

Do you really think HR needs to be notified? They check the daily badge checkin and so does upper management. How do you think they come up with the list of people to be laid-off. I wouldn't say anything. Just let it play out by itself. Perhaps they have a personal physical issue and have a doctors note for them to continue working from home. I know my sister has a back problem and can't drive to work, so she has been given special permission to work from home by her company. You don't know your colleagues problems so just do your work, get paid, and go home.

OP, while complaining can you make a request for keyboard and mouse for employees to use while in the Atlanta office. Some coffee in the 2nd floor kitchen would be nice too. Oh, turn off the AC too, it's freezing in the office. No wonder people not coming.

First, it's obvious you're just here to troll. No one is this daft.

People do not get fired overnight. People are protesting RTO now and it'll take a good 2 months for it to catch up to them.

You're not paid to track your coworker's presence. You're paid to do your job. Soon, HR will start asking you why you're not doing your job.
