Need the Nightmare Before Christmas guy now
The Company is being sold, granted offer made, not accepted yet. It will be, so long Macy's as we know it today. Most stores will be closed in 2024 and restructure will begin. Will reopen under new terms for all new hires. Probably no unions.
I hear massive layoffs in digital and planning. All digital jobs going to contractors.

Many jobs are being taken over by Artificial Intelligence. As companies upgrade their software, many jobs will be lost. Most folks will need to update their skills if they want to remain current in their job field.
Most companies are planning to layoff many folks in 2024 since they have to refinance with high interest rates. This will cause many companies to layoff or go bankrupt. Americans have a lot of debt (especially on their credit cards) and in general the USA has trillions in debt. Did you know, you and anyone else living in USA have $200,000 in debt? You didn't know this because you don't pay attention to total USA debt and you and your kids are paying for it everyday and will continue to do so into the future for many years.
