Exec Mgt is not done yet. I told you about the last round, which was correct. Top Mgrs and AEs I know have confirmed they are leaving or will be pushed out in the next 60 days at the most. Last qtrs results were not because the company is doing well but the overhead cost reduction of top and expensive employees. They (specifically George Kurian) will continue this to drive the stock price as high as possible so he can parachute out at the top. NO ONE IS BUYING NETAPP….especially Cisco! I warned you before and I will warn you again…for the last time…GET OUT NOW! You will be happier and make more money. Good luck and Happy Holidays!

Storage Newsletter published an article that NetApp is laying off 8% of its WW workforce by Q4. When I went to share it with my friend who works at NetApp, it was suspiciously pulled down.
What's happening at NetApp, recent VPs have left the company. Is this normal turnover or something more to come?

NetApp is perpetually stuck in the 2010’s and getting left in the dust of forward thinking companies like Pure. It’s because of all the old timers that have been at the company for 15+ years that don’t know anything outside of what they were taught when they first started at NetApp. It’s a sinking ship because of George & all the old timers he protects. No new talent wants to work at NetApp because the company has become a joke! And yes layoffs most likely Jan/Feb timeframe, take the package and find a better company to work for. You’ll be a lot happier once you leave NetApp anyways!

Dude. Calm down with the get out now. This isn't a horror movie. NetApp will drag on for years just like it has for the previous 10. Slow declines. You should leave a job if you are not happy with the direction or think your position is redundant. Not because some guy is screaming in a forum like this is a horror movie and the bad guy is right behind you.
There is a wider layoff pending. Everyone knows about it. It’s just a matter of deciding when. My guess is after the holidays.
Regardless what netapp did to you, just get over with it. Venting here doesn’t help. There are a lot of better places or better things out of netapp
