Let me know so I can get out before then. I have not been with Walgreens for very long and I’m disturbed with how many employees seem to eat up the bullsh-t the execs are saying. Do the directors, managers, and vps not want more for themselves? It’s sad really. Listening to my managers defend these choices and “look on the bright side” just makes me feel ill. Saying “at least we’re safe FOR NOW” does not make me feel any better. Where is your soul? Do you not feel for the over 200 people laid off before the holidays? Do you not feel for the single parents who are scrambling trying to find affordable childcare before going back into the office? Where is your empathy and collective action? How are you not angry!?

As the previous post pointed out, people have various reasons for staying. I think many are "forced" to drink the Kool-aid through fear and intimidation (Walgreen's company-wide culture). From what I see, this company rarely uses positive incentives to drive results.
I’m angry alright. Anyone who isn’t angry needs to get their heads checked. That being said, people have various reasons to stay. Bills to pay, families to support.
Collective action might mean not going into the office. It might mean keep hammering the execs in their town halls.
