Its the economy that runs the railroad, not the other way around.
Hedge funds are in control of getting the JV team running things . If the earnings $ don’t improve and JV can’t increase the car loadings, hedge funds will have JV fired.
His time won't be long either. Just a guess.
It's similar to the scene in Goodfellas where they squeeze that restaurant for every nickel by running up the credit and selling off assets then burning it down and walking away. It's grift pure and simple but on a massive scale that the country cannot afford to allow to it's critical infrastructure.
And it's going to be a mess...
