"Zane walked away from 28M cash in hand - you don't do that for a "career change" or some other random reason. "

Yep. This is it. Zane saw the illegal activity and knew that he would be held responsible so he bailed, rather than face the chance of an inditment and jail. But guess what? The illegal activty did not stop. BC has been telling my BUs product team what to do and it is causing problems. They are focusing on an upcoming product and neglecting the selling products. Customers are bailing and sales teams are bailing. It isn't going to end well.

BC have been telling VMware what to do since May of 2022 and VMware has knowingly stepped across the boundary of legality on many occasions with these dimwit execs who were just looking for a payout and have no moral compass. No need to list the breaches repeatedly as anyone in the business knows full well.

As for the CFO and the whole compliance team - guess what, as a CFO and compliance lead there are risks of personal liability for breaches like this ergo so many people just walked as they didn't want to risk court / jail / blacklisting in the marketplace.

Zane walked away from 28M cash in hand - you don't do that for a "career change" or some other random reason. A few weeks before he resigned the UK M&A authority highlighted the illegal behaviour happening and called a stop to it - or else. A few weeks later there was a exodus of legal / compliance / deal mgmt / finance who were all possibly exposed. Not so hard to connect the dots.

Why did Zane Rowe left suddenly ?

It wasn't sudden and it wasn't kept secret. It was said directly in an All Hands that Broadcom already has a CFO and Zane wouldn't have a role in the new org, so he left when an opportunity came to him.

Why did Zane Rowe left suddenly ? Exactly at the same moment that we got an email saying that we should no longer submit 10+mlj quotes to HT for approval. Guess VMware execs where walking on a thin red line by given HT control over VMware business before deal is closed.

I’m sorry, but I see thing like this posted… and the utterly deplorable English used to write this out.. please lord baby Jesus, let BC shed some of this fat!

Anyone who believes this is going according to plan is seriously demented.

Musk tried to pull out but couldn't. Then he moved in with the sink. HT just took out the wrecking ball because he could?

BC is led under dictatorship rule. VMW is led by puppets. This is the result.

Because it’s in the contract. BC has say in certain matters such as deal approvals beyond a certain size because they impact the finances of a business they are supposedly buying. It’s one of the reasons they are in the hook for $1.5Billion if this deal falls through.
