Do we think the deal will close this week, esp after the APEC meeting? My feeling is with what’s on the line for Biden re perceived weakness on China for his re-election and all the political tensions in the US right now, they probably won’t be talking about the deal much. But if this doesn’t close by the end of the week, I wonder if it’ll close the week of thanksgiving, one of the biggest holidays of the year. Thoughts?

I predict that, based on the damage already done to the VMW brand, the deal outcome doesn't matter. Any customer reading this site has been exposed to all the leadership failures.
