Some of VMware’s biggest channel partners have told CRN that their biggest customers are “paying more attention” to the delay of the $61 billion deal with Broadcom as China, the final regulator needed to greenlight the merger, holds back its approval.

Partners will focus on their other vendor relationships, where business model volatility isn't constant and ongoing customer retention viability isn't a concern (like it is with VMW).
Bullshlt.
VMware is not bread and butter for any main stream player. The customer is all that’s important and VMW solutions are mostly irrelevant.
Nobody is working
The impact on revenue will be a big one. The people behind this disaster need to be held accountable.
