Inept management

Always being expected to pick up the slack when they lay people off or people leave not replaced and then ride you when work is not being done. No help offered or applied

Welcome to the Circus
Just remember all of you folks being laid off due to "location strategy" and or being required to relocate, that your high N mighty CEO took a $20+ million a year job and wouldn't relocate for it, and the Board didn't make him. Munger and Buffet at the time said it was BS. Real leaders don't ask of others what they aren't willing to do themselves. Anything less is a CHICKEN-SCHITT!

Open Doors
What’s being done about all the open doors on container trains? Trains travel the entire system from origin to destination with co tai er doors open. Merchandise falling out or attracting thieves. Trains can’t be stopped because of velocity. Employees quit reporting because it seems no one cares. Seems like a major accident t waiting to happen.

Working at Tenneco really su-ked.
It was a toxic and unproductive environment where the team I was working with was in a death-loop of conflicting priorities, inadequate support and poor quality control.

When I was laid off, I felt I was deliberately targeted but taking a step back, it was for good.

I hated working there. I should've left sooner but my misplaced loyalty to the team got in the way. I literally felt guilty interviewing for other companies and sabotaged my own interviews.
I'm now free and glad to take the severance and go on my way.
Yeah, I know "Hindsight is a wonderful We hated you working there too. Good .When most people quit or are laid off they close that chapter of the book and move on with their lives.

You seem to be stuck here you're not convincing people to quit. None of your comments apply to the current day.

So why are you still here? For your own mental health, close the store. Did you hate getting paid at Apollo? This sounds like you are trying to convince yourself that you are glad you got laid off. In short, cool story. But my misplaced loyalty to the team got in the way
And likely the fact the job was easy and extremely underpaid compared to similar jobs on the market.
