House of cards tumbling…

What's wrong with that? It's one of my favorite shows!
That's Real advice, as sad or scary as it seems. There won't likely be much, if any severance @ the future batch of dismissals.
And when you find the time, take a look at the KoolAid makers who have attached their careers to chip's-following him from venture to venture.
Would Gab's return to this company (in the condition that it's in) have more yo do with the future business vs the rehabilitation of the current one? Doubt it!
If you are currently employed by 2u, I cannot stress this enough: update your resume, update your LinkedIn Profile, apply for open positions - do anything you can to secure a spot for yourself elsewhere. THIS IS NOT GETTING BETTER. Do not listen to the KoolAid drinkers at the management level. If the company goes bankrupt, you WILL lose your jobs. They do not care about you.
If you having stock problems I feel bad for you, son. I’ve got $.99 problems and 2U is one…
This su-ks. I did espp many rounds and now I've practically lost my investment. I believed in them.
As of 3:19 pm EST, it's at $0.99. RIP my job. I can't imagine this is going to have a good outcome.
Holy sh-t. I used to be a 2Ute. I did the Stock Plan at around $25ish. Obviously it’s all gone now (>$1 is crazy). My have the mighty fallen.
At this point I don’t care what happens. Either way, I think it’s safe to say the board needs to oust Chip, and sell this company.
Chip should call his good friend Adam Neumann for more advice on how to bankrupt a company.

If you truly believe that anyone here is rooting for 3,000 people, you are willfully missing the point. As a business, as an institution, 2U has failed. It has failed to protect its greatest assets, its employees, and has done so in an increasingly callous manner. What type of person sets meetings on employee calendars then sends a companywide email saying, "If you have a meeting, you're either fired or reassigned." Cool, we'll just sit tight while our wellbeing hangs in the balance. But don't worry. As Chip will reassure you while he personally removes food from your family's table, they're in "great shape" going into 2024 and 2025. No one is rooting for job loss and instability. We're collectively acknowledging that the ship is sinking, and many are rightfully hoping it takes the captain down with it.
$1.20
ill be surprised if its over $1 by end of day today.
No one is rooting for people to lose their jobs. Here are the facts: Chip is an incompetent CEO who is in WAY over his head; leadership is struggling to find a solution for its impending debt maturity; OG university partners are dissolving their partnerships; and 2u prioritized lining the pocketbooks of leadership and shareholders rather than investing in their employees. For those of us who got the axe, it's nice to see that we were let go for reasons beyond our control. Don't be mad at us, be mad at the incompetent leadership that is leading towards the dissolution of 3000 jobs (and frankly, I hope Chip loses every penny of his net worth, but unfortunately, that's now how our society works. He'll just get richer).

Hahahahahaha
The amount of you rooting for 3000 people to lose their jobs is really gross.
