It’s going to be a long week. I just hope the severance is decent. With my luck, I’ll be retained and have to deal w an even bigger sh-t show that is EMR. Go boldly! Go F yourself.
More layoffs coming in the 2nd round.
Ritu is hopping around the globe on a jolly ride across NI branches, shamelessly lying to NI employees and customers that 'emerson doesnt know much about test and meas. There is little overlap in functions and skills. Emerson values NI talent and doesnt want to scare them away. Emerson is committed to investing in NI products. Blah blah and other BS'
While in reality just the opposite is happening. Good people are being fired. Several products are being moved to sustaining. Ownership of certain areas are being silently siphoned off to nearby emerson branches.
The least the leadership can do is to show some integrity and own up to what they are doing.
If no one speaks of it...with a little time its like it never really happened.
Essentially all senior management in an org with 100-ish folks were let go. They were the OGs of the org with combined experience exceeding 50 years at NI. ICs are likely next in Dec. Time to leave before sh-t hits the fan.

Yes, the first round happened this week. Next round is in early DEC.
