Maybe Crown and Dish get swallowed up together by some huge company.
There won’t be more layoffs. This time is they will say we are relocating employees to permanent non working remote positions. These employees are still part of the purple family they just don’t have to work or come to a crown office.
DISH mergers and partnerships (Echostar and Amazon) were announced long ago on financial websites. None of this should be surprising to any employee....
Do your own homework, during AND before bad things happen, not just trust the in-house spoon-feeding of customized information. I'm so far "Safe" LOL, but anyone who thought a lay-off happens at any company, is the end of the trimming or usually negative changes for remaining employees, hasn't been in the workforce long. It is never ever, "One and done". If you have options, go after them. If you don't, start getting creative and improving your resume. FAST. Focusing two years from now (2025 we'll get better) is just another strategized ploy to delay until they can collect on their big fluffy executive perks and compensation. Wake up people.
If/when the Dish-Echostar merger happens, expect plenty more layoffs
And they want us to relocate to Houston with no long term job promises or guarantees?
