I think the repeated talking point of "assume good intentions" really struck a nerve with me. You can sugar coat it all you want, but we all know what your intensions are...layoff workers to preserve your bonus. Message received.

In my organization the same overpaid senior leaders received new shiney titles and were basically reshuffled under the new org. structure - not one was let go. The cronyism and nepotism is still alive and well in mortgage.
